2008 - a year of change:
~ J-man got his first job
~ Lex started driving
~ J-man moved up to his Dad's
~ I got a promotion
~ Sam officially became a teenager
~ we went on what will probably be our last family vacation with all four of our kids
~ we lost loved ones (Uncle Frank and Nana Marchant)
~ I got another promotion
~ V started preschool
~ we bought our first house
~ J-man turned 18
~ D left the company we mutually worked for to work for another company
~ C-girl moved in with us
We had a busy year as our family evolved and changed. We had a lot of growing pains. We also had some great memories. The year ahead will hold a lot more change for us as our two oldest move onto the grown up world beyond high school, and V starts her school career.
The new year is always a great time to take stock and give thanks for all we've survived through, learned from and for the blessing we've received. My only resolution this year is to appreciate all I have; my husband, kids, family, friends, home and job, keeping the focus on what really counts.
