I choose...

Every day, every moment we choose our "destiny". Sometimes we cannot change our circumstances but we can ALWAYS choose how we respond to them. And in everything, we see the results of our choices.

Today, right now, I choose to look forward with the vision given to me, not by birth and not by my worldly experience, but by the Holy Spirit. Fill me up, Father, until I overflow and infect everyone around me with your joy. Let me be a light unto the world. Help me to soar on wings like an eagle.

Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
