So this morning, Sammantha was mad at me, cause I wouldn't let her take any of the licorice that wasn't hers to school today. She pouted and turned her head as I kissed her good-bye. She then got on the bus and didn't wave good-bye. She always waves good-bye. I waved anyway, mumbling about "thankless job".
Then I see a new comment on my blog from yesterday. And I smile. Being a Mom is wonderful. Its messy, hard work, and often thankless, but I wouldn't trade a moment of it.
