mmmmm.... chicken

Well its seems we have chickens. We didn'd plan on it. We didnt even go buy chickens, or hatch them. We don't have a chicken coop, or pen. We just have these chickens that come by each day to eat the birdseed off the ground from under our birdfeeder. Now add this to our resident peacock(s), the constant circling of hawks, the occasional pheasant and all your everyday birds, we have a small bird sanctuary here it seems.

here is a picture of one of the peacocks who frequents our place. Our cat, Maxi, follows him everywhere with her mouth watering, but seems to know better than to tangle with the bird that is 10 times bigger than she is.
