Some thoughts in the midst of turmoil

Proverbs 14:4 "Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox."

We are trying to buy a house. We found the house. Funny, cause we never would have considered it, 'cept for our realtor suggesting we take a look. It was out of our price range. WAY out. But it is a foreclosure. Been on the market a little while. Great house. Everything we need. So we put an offer in. We offer what we are comfortable with and with what is realistically very close to our ceiling. Then.... we wait.

And wait.

And wait.

Finally, several days later and only a few hours before our offer would expire, we get a call. They have countered our offer. *sigh*

So now, we are crunching numbers. It's a little stressful. But there is still hope.

So what does this have to do with Ox's and cribs and increases, you say?!? Well, one of my co-workers interperted that verse this way, "You're gonna have to shovel the !#@$, to make the gain".

Yup.
