Butterfly and Pumpkin are walking down the street. There are giggles and whispers and two nondescript forms following and helping Pumpkin so she won't roll away. There is rain, but that doesnt stop the journey or the giggles. Butterfly patiently waits on the much slower Pumpkin. Occassionaly Pumpkin finds an extraordinarily interesting leaf, floating its way down to the rain soaked street. This looks like a good place to rest. Butterfly's wings flutter in the breeze, making wonderful shadows from a jack 'o lanterns glow.
A pirate passes by, followed by a bum with a sign that reads, "Will work for candy". Laughter and calls resonate through the trees, echoing off the homes of the keepers of the candy.
Butterfly recognizes a friend and compliments her beautiful rennaisance dress.
Poor Pumpkin can't keep up anymore. Her load has become heavy, as have her eyes.
Butterfly wraps her wings around Pumpkin to encourage her on. A light kiss brings a giggle, but home is still Pumpkin's cry. A disco queen gives Pumpkin an extra candy and the trek home begins.
One last stop, to Butterfly's delight, but the hairy man is a frightful sight. Butterfly giggles, but Pumpkin is scared. She turns to hide. The scary, hairy man shows that he is nice underneath. Pumpkin is calmed and receives her treat. Butterfly takes her hand, waves a wing good-bye. "Happy Halloween," she says, "What a fun night!!"
